ABOUT THE ARTIST

Emma Hughes-Martinet

Emma Hughes-Martinet is a French musician, singer/songwriter, arranger, composer and illustrator.
Music hugely impacted her childhood, allowing her to find her true self whilst giving her a sense of purpose and meaning to pursue. Her desire is to give to others what music brought to her life, to help animate a desire and purpose in all of us from the oldest to the youngest.
Emma has been a Musician for over 15 years, working in styles ranging between Jazz / folk / funk and world music.
In 2012 Emma co-founded ‘Petite Music Box’ a lullaby and calm music group designed to allow kids to live peacefully. Emma has recorded 4 children's albums.
Most currently she is leader and founder member of French group “Bloom and The Woodmen” a folk bluegrass project. Now she is embarking on another project called ‘Pom De Pin’, a solo project designed to lead children into a new and mystical world, awakening the imagination and joy of infancy.
